LEMON DILL TROUT

Recipe By The Hot Plate

Lemon dill trout is very easy to make. The parchment paper keeps all the moisture and flavour inside so the trout comes out super moist and the vegetables tender. The dill and lemon zest give the trout a very bright taste. Try the recipe and tell us it isn’t awesome!

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 trout fillet
  • 1/8 cup of dry white wine
  • A few sprigs of fresh dill
  • A handful of cherry tomatoes
  • A few green beans
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Pepper and Kosher salt
  • 1 lemon

DIRECTIONS 

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Lay a 10×10 inch sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet. In the center of the paper drizzle 1 tbsp. of olive oil and lay a single layer of green beans onto the drizzled oil. Spread out a few cherry tomatoes then place the trout fillet on top. Season the trout with salt and pepper and 1 tsp. of lemon zest. Top it with a few sprigs of dill and pour on the white wine.
  3. Fold the parchment paper twice on all sides to ensure it doesn’t open during cooking. Put the baking sheet and parchment package in the oven and bake for 25 minutes until the vegetables are tender and the fish is completely cooked.

Got some lobster meat, lobster tail, scallops and crab meat, and made pastas with them. Absolutely delicious, so fresh and high quality. Would def recommend!!!

Seafood Crate is my go-to source for sushi grade salmon and tuna. And I eat alot of sushi so its perfect for me. They cut the fish for you and it comes in a sealed plastic which is very fresh. It’s so easy to cut the salmon and tuna up and put it on top for nigiri. I don’t make alot of rolls because I prefer handrolls and nigiri. The quality of the sushi grade tuna and salmon is so good! I have tried the organic salmon and the regular one. I don’t know I can taste the differene. The tuna is the best I ever had!
