Buttery Lobster Rolls

BUTTERY LOBSTER ROLLS

Recipe By Seafood Crate

Buttery lobster rolls are quick and easy to make. Seafood Crate’s cooked lobster meat just needs to be heated and seasoned and you’re pretty much done!

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 oz. cooked lobster meat
  • Kosher salt
  • ½ stick unsalted butter
  • 2 split-top hot dog buns
  • 1.5 tablespoons minced fresh chives
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh tarragon
  • Paprika, for topping 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the buns and toast, turning, until golden on both sides, about 3 minutes. Remove to a plate.
  2. Wipe out the skillet. Add the remaining 3 tablespoons butter and the lobster meat. Reduce the heat to medium low and cook, stirring gently, until the lobster is just warmed through, 1-2 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the chives and tarragon; season with salt. Divide among the buns; sprinkle with paprika.

FOOTNOTES

TIPS AND TRICKS 
  • The recipe calls for a ½ stick of unsalted butter but we’ve successfully made this with a little less. It’s just as tasty only not as buttery!
