Shrimp Angel-Hair Pasta

SHRIMP ANGEL-HAIR PASTA

Recipe By Seafood Crate

Whether entertaining friends or enjoying a date night in, enjoy this easy, light shrimp pasta recipe on a hot summer night!

INGREDIENTS

  • 14oz medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 pint heirloom cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 ounces whole grain angel-hair pasta
  • 8 cups spinach
  • ½ cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Grated zest and juice of ½ lemon
  • Salt and pepper; to taste

DIRECTIONS 

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, and add the whole grain pasta. Cook according to the pasta’s instructions.
  2. Once the pasta has finished cooking, drain and rinse under cold water. Add the pasta to a large bowl, and set aside.
  3. Add olive oil to a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Meanwhile, add the shrimp to a medium bowl, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the chopped garlic to the skillet and cook until golden.
  6. Add the shrimp and cook until pink.
  7. Add the tomatoes and spinach and cook for 2 minutes, or until slightly softened.
  8. Add the skillet contents to the bowl with the wholegrain pasta. Toss in lemon juice, zest and basil until well combined.
  9. Serve!

Got some lobster meat, lobster tail, scallops and crab meat, and made pastas with them. Absolutely delicious, so fresh and high quality. Would def recommend!!!

Seafood Crate is my go-to source for sushi grade salmon and tuna. And I eat alot of sushi so its perfect for me. They cut the fish for you and it comes in a sealed plastic which is very fresh. It’s so easy to cut the salmon and tuna up and put it on top for nigiri. I don’t make alot of rolls because I prefer handrolls and nigiri. The quality of the sushi grade tuna and salmon is so good! I have tried the organic salmon and the regular one. I don’t know I can taste the differene. The tuna is the best I ever had!
